org.uk/skeltongrange/heritage-open-day> Saturday 5th October 11am-4pm :
Our very popular open day which each year attracts hundreds of visitors to take part in charcoal burning, willow weaving, green woodworking, bushcraft, felt making, circus skills, village fete games, facepainting, bike activities, locally brewed beer, dragon fired cob oven pizzas, homemade cakes, music, crafts, bees, owls - you name it! If you could donate some homemade cake for us to sell, we would be very grateful - they sell like, erm, hot cakes...

org.uk/skeltongrange/training#singing> Singing workshop Saturday 12th October 10am-4pm :
Following last autumn's well attended and really fun event at Skelton Grange, we have been persuaded to run another one! It is run in a very supportive way - no solos, what you might think is a terrible singing voice is absolutely fine, and the emphasis on really enjoying yourself, which we all did! Tickets £25. Feedback from last time included: A great way to spend a Saturday! Such a change from the usual routine. Ali is a fantastic teacher, immediately putting everyone at their ease. We learned new skills, gained confidence, laughed lots and were genuinely moved by the sound we ended up producing...

co.uk/> More Than Honey film screening Wednesday 16th October at 7.30pm:
Beautifully filmed and directed by Oscar nominated Markus Imhoof, this film brings sharply into focus our current bee crisis where numerous colonies of bees have been decimated throughout the world. More Than Honey is the provocative yet touching tale of what may happen if our bees become extinct. Fifty years ago, Einstein had already insisted on the symbiotic relationship binding these pollen gatherers to mankind: “If bees were to disappear from the globe,” he predicted, “mankind would only have 4 years left to live.”

org.uk/skeltongrange/holiday-fun> Zombie Apocalypse at Skelton Grange Research Centre Thursday 31st Oct and Friday 1st November from 6pm:
An exciting, if rather scary, evening of interactive adventure for families with older children, groups or very intrepid individuals. Come and find out what is really going on at Skelton Grange Research Centre, where strange sightings, missing people and terrifying noises have been reported.... Live actors, dark woods and lots of clues to solve! Tickets £10, to include a hot vegetarian or carnivorous sausage sandwich, should you make it back in one piece. Drinks will be available for sale.
If you want any more information, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
Best wishes
