call for local (small and large) food growers and food sellers: Leed

Posted by: "Chiara Tornaghi" chiara....@gmail.com   chiara_tornaghi

Dear all,

Myself and other members of this network (and a good third of Feed Leeds'
committee members) are planning to start a Leeds Food Hub.

We have been discussing for a long time the need to put together a structure
to facilitate the production and distribution of local (sustainable) food
and we feel this is the right time to engage with this project practically.

We will start an open discussion interested growers (or willing to be
growers) and sellers (including caterers, restaurants, café', etc.) next
Wednesday 10th of July, at Burley Lodge Centre, 10am-1pm.

Discussion will facilitate by Helen Woodcock and Katie Brandon (Kindling
Trust and Manchester Veg People) and introduced by their presentation on
“Making sustainable food pay (Fairly)”.

Please come along and help circulating this news widely. All details and
booking link are in the attached flyer.
