The metal lathe paperwork is nearly ready (it was new lathe for the space, then covid hot, and it needed fixing) so you'll be able to get one of those soon.

As for the CNC router, there's currently only one person able to induct on it, but that should be changing as soon as possible.

Hi, I think I might be that person.

I think the CNC needs a good looking over to make sure it is still ok after Covid, but if I can make it into the space in the next few weeks I'll give it a once over and can arrange an induction if all is fine.

One thing I will advise so you're aware, it's not a particularly rigid machine and whilst I believe it might cut aluminium with the right tool, approach, and patience, it's really more geared up for carving of hard plastics, wood, and engraving.

Huw the CNC is running fine, but could use some TLC which I haven't got around to. I've cut a fairly big project on it recently.

Hi all. Sorry for delay on lathe inductions and the slow response(I've taken a couple weeks off) . I'll look into getting the paperwork finished this Tuesday and then hopefully a few of us will be in place to start doing inductions again
