Okay folks, 

I've set up a wiki page (http://wiki.leedshackspace.org.uk/index.php/MendelMax ) for the Max.

I know that several people have claimed interest in purchasing parts for the printer.  So far mostly it's been Nav and myself buying bits.

It would be nice if people could commit to the bits they were wanting to pay for in the list and ideally tag them as ordered as/when they have done so.

I'm still a little unsure on the heatmat... it works out to about £40 including shipping and is 300x300 and 12v but it's from an unknown chinese exporter and we may get clobbered for VAT.  There's a 300x200 230v one which should work at £42 inc vat with £9 delivery, but then we need to relay it as well.  Comments anyone?  I'm thinking that the 12v one is worth a punt personally.

I add extra money every month, and have also added some extra money in
lump sums at times, so maybe you can ask one of the directors.

I have always felt this is the best way to make sure things keep moving
forward, and hopefully stuff that I am interested in can get pushed to
the front.

I am just too busy to get to the space atm.

There is a 4Pi in the post, heading my way. So soon I will have two lots
of electronics. I also have spare PLA.

Martyn how is the actual printing parts coming along?

Thanks Martyn much appreciated, am looking into the rods at the moment with a rough quote from metal supermarket for 8 mm silver steel rods which the mendle max parts list says should be appropriate. Parts list:

Before I go buying what lengths do we need considering our printer is bigger than average?

http://wiki.leedshackspace.org.uk/index.php/Projects/MendelMax already
existed - you might want to merge your stuff onto that page.

There's the measurements for the rods on there too.
