Light Night 2025 - the recubening

We've been asked to bring the Cube to Light Night again this year, and it'd be very cool if we can make it the biggest bestest cube display yet. 

I've set up a Light Night slack channel to keep the main feed a little clearer, so please head there for cube chat. Go to the main menu, add channel, light-night-2025.

The dates this year are 23rd/24th October. I don't know yet when setup and teardown will be, but hopefully we'll set up on the 23rd and tear down on the 25th.

I'm inviting submissions of music for pre-programmed displays, and also the programming or other control of such displays. Genre is irrelevant - happy for everything from chip tunes to a capella gerbils. 

It'd also be great to have some soundscapes to play during general viewing, to accompany general patterns. 

We'll also have some external lighting (details to follow) via DMX.

As for other help, we'll need some people to set up and tear down, plus supervision on the day. All volunteers will be given a meal per night (details to follow), and you won't be expected to stay for each entire night - we'll have shifts. 

If you have any other cube ideas, I'd love to hear them. Please remember that they need to be feasibly by October though!
