Free beer

The remainder of Tim's birthday keg of beer needs drinking,  

The kegs needs emptying by Tuesday night.  

If you wish to drink some of it at the hack-space please do so responsibly and stay out of the workshop/ and avoid power tools. 

Feel free to bring a container and take some beer home with you but its probably best to drink it by Wednesday night. 

To pour, please notes that the beer comes out of the horizontal tap.

Remove the peg on the top so it's just sitting in the hole otherwise physics won't let the liquid come out.
Turn the tap slowly. It can be a bit stiff so don't leave it until the glass is full to turn it off.

Make sure the peg is back in securely when done. Just a little tap with the mallet. Don't whack it

We had one of these left over after an event at Hallam Uni and it was given to a secretary to share out when they came back after the very warm weekend.

When they opened it, I was told a massive swarm of flies flew out. I'm sure they were exaggerating, but they weren't happy with us.

So the first person to open it may want to be a bit careful when they do.

It was absolutely fine yesterday afternoon. The flavour has changed, it’s a live product so this is to be expected; a bit like cheese but much much quicker.
