Hi All
went into kitchen and found droppings on the counter top, I have wiped the counter top, trunking, sink splash back and the appliances down. unfortunately due to my back I can't do the lower cupboards but was disappointed to see dirty plates/bowls have been put way (I couldn't get to one of the big plates but it will be obvious which one it is). there was also a loaf off bread left out on the counter which has been nibbled. If they are in the Kitchen they are also in other areas of the hackspace. I also popped next door to have a chat with Bridge-IT and they have also found signs of mice infestation and are getting pest control in as the corridor that is between their unit and ours (which they are responsible for) had large amounts of mouse droppings.
Please please please can everybody take more responsibility for cleaning up after themselves and not leaving food sources out for pests. If you bring in a takeaway or use the kitchen or tuck shop for food/drink please ensure you clean up after yourselves which includes either washing up or using the dishwasher and wipe down surfaces after use especially if you have spilt or made a mess. Also remember that if you use a bin and its more than 3/4 full then it needs emptying and taken to the outside bins.
