Hack Space Visit

Hello, 

My name is David Newell from the West Yorkshire based organisation, Specialist Autism Services, we work with adults in the region and have a Leeds based branch.

 

One of our member-led workshops is currently developing a project which will likely involve both coding and physical craft/design elements.

 

We’d very much like to have an introductory visit and consider what links we might be able to make with the Hackspace.

 

We – that is myself and two of our members – were hoping to visit yourselves on Tuesday 14^th May 2024, in the evening slot.

 

If this visit date is acceptable, we look forward to seeing you next month.

Hi David,

You would be very welcome to pop by next Tuesday evening and have a tour of the space and chat to our members and see what we do and then have a chat with myself or one of the directors about possible links moving forward.

The Hackspace currently is mostly aimed at members working on personal projects and hobbies rather than some other Makerspaces or Men’s sheds that work on group projects or have paid employees to run specific opening times or workshops. Our membership is exceptionally diverse so maybe there might be 1 or 2 that maybe interested in helping out.
