Hey guys,

Wondering how the laser rebuild is getting on,

it's getting annoying that im not able to get down to the space and
help, i managed to call in at the space a few months ago on my way past
and that was it, i just didn't have any spare time to do owt there other
than grab a tool i needed that i'd left there.

i usually do about 15k miles in my car in a year, i'm barely past 1000
miles this year!

Hi Gazz,

Slowly but surely I’ll try and upload some pics later, currently in the process of de-rusting and cleaning up the z-rods and gears.

Unfortunately had some other stuff to manage and organise in the space such as water meters and large bills but we will get there

Hello,

Is there any progress on the laser cutter? I was wondering if someone could cut me a 2mm/3mm clear piece about 20x25cm. Delivery from a lot of online places is £9 so just wondering if anyone already in the space for another reason can do it for me for cheaper and I can drive down to pick it up. No worries if not!

Good to hear from you, sorry Laser is still being worked on ( not much has changed since you last saw it) aiming to have it up and running for the reopening at the moment

If Duke Studios can't do it and you still need it doing (and can get over to Hebden Bridge/Mytholmroyd) let me know - I can probably run it off on the laser cutter at work

hey so I have a studio just round the corner with a 100w 50 x 70 laser

if people are in a jam then i might be able to do some cutting if you can provide the files. Im away for a week or so, ill have to charge for my time and materials but if people are up against it it is there as an option.
