Server's For Sale.

Hi, 

I thought i would offer them here first before they end up on ebay. I Just finished pulling two Dell poweredge 1850's out of service due to upgrade on monday. They are far from perfect cosmetically but they both work brilliantly and are great 1U servers, infact i dont think either of them have ever gone down on me (unlike the HP servers i own). No rack rails included though as i used universal rails that i am re-useing for the replacement servers.  

Server 1

2x xeon 3.0Ghz / 800FSB / 2MB Cache

6GB Ram,

2x 146GB 15K SCSI Drives in raid 1. 

Has the raid key / battery / cache

Single PSU installed. 

Currently sat in my spare room running a minecraft server so will come pre-installed with mineos. 

Server 2

as above but: 

1x 146GB 10K SCSI drive installed. 

Also has additional RAID card with external scsi connections and a dual Gb ethernet card (aswell as the two onboard)

Also loads of spares, cant remember all what is there but atleas: 

2x spare PSU (possibly 4)

1x 300GB SCSI hard drive

2x 73GB 10K SCSI hard drives

also other stuff like spare CPU's, management card, fans, possibly even a motherboard. 

Also i have a HP ProCurve 24 port gigabit network switch, rackmount, some dual purpose ports on there, management port, etc, nice switch. 

£100 all in if you collect from me in middleton (ls10). I can not deliver this lot, i do not drive. Brought it here by taxi at the grand cost of £8 from roughtly leeds city centre so it is an option for others in my situation. 

Also i cant hold onto this for long, it is going to have to go up on ebay after the weekend if nobody here wants it so please have an ask around.

Thank you very much for the offer :)

We've currently got the problem where we have a number of servers floating around, but don't really have space to home them (our racks are only comms depth which causes issues) so I think I'm going to have to pass.

-Which is a shame; I'd love a 24port vlanable gig switch for home :)
