Thanks Mark,

I've done the laser induction and used a CNC machine, so I understand the principles of a machine working on X, Y, Z axes.

I understand in a pretty broad sense about filament printing and resin printing.  (YouTube, mainly.)

I've used CAD software for 2 and 2.5D work, but not 3D and I haven't tinkered with STLs yet.
I've never used a 3D printer.
