Edexcel Applied ICT (AS/A2)

Will this be a qualification which could be supported through this
site? Many of the topics are universal to the OCR, but units are
assessed slightly differently.
I am particularly keen for support on the database unit for A2, which
many students struggle with.

This group has been created for discussion within the group. While wee
cannot guarantee that discussion will be taken up by the members, we
hope there will be other teachers with the same concerns and willing
to contribute.

One note, the university lecturers will not have direct knowledge
about the database unit for A2 and the particulars for Edexcel Applied
ICT. But they do have experience with databases and computing which
may be useful to these topics. It may be useful to be less broad and
discuss particular issues.

Of course this discussion could be an opportunity for members to
present their concerns teaching topics related to Edexcel Applied ICT
and how they worked around the issues or what they need help on.
