I have added to the resources pages links to the After School
Computing Club supported by the University of Leeds. This includes
links to the Tetris and Pacman resources (http://www.comp.leeds.ac.uk/
aschool/resources.html)

The club has been running a number of years at schools with two
undergraduate mentors allocated to each club. Here is some information
regarding size and age group derived from previous clubs:

Club size for best results:
Approx. 12 (depends on how needy the pupils are). Plan for between 4
and 6 students per active adult helper.

Age Group:
Clubs have been tried with year 8, 10 and a year 12 A level
computing group. A school stated "... while the year 10s were ok the
year 8s were found to be the most enthusiastic". "... anything between
year 8 and year 10 would work, at other schools they may have a
different experience."

If you want any further information about the club or running a club,
please feel free to contact me.
