University of Leeds Event for Computing Teachers (2008)

Leeds University Event for Teachers (2008) is being organised for ICT
teachers to discuss issues and problems teaching computing and IT (in
particular with the new curriculum).

This discussion thread is also an opportunity for ICT teachers to
request an Events for Teacher's structure which would be beneficial to
the community. For example:
- a panel session with Computer Science lectures and researchers,
- a workshop to better understand a computing problem to be taught
- seminar/presentation on issues listed from this discussion thread

Any other ideas that would benefit and help in the teaching of
computer science and IT are welcome.
