Hi,

I've created a new group / mailing-list for discussions and questions specific to Beancount, such as installation & running problems or bugs. Please post those to that list in the future to avoid disturbing the Ledgerian sector of the galaxy too much.

You can join the list here if you've got interest in Beancount and LedgerHub:

  http://furius.ca/beancount/mailing-list
  (redirects to Google Groups)

There is only one list, which is intended to encompass user questions and development topics. I'll start posting announcements on Beancount changes soon as I'm nearing completion on v2.0 (basically just missing some docs & examples files at this point), and I should be cross-posting some initial announcements to this list but will generally post more incremental & verbose updates on the Beancount list.

I'll otherwise continue cross-posting and rabble-rousing here on topics that relate to command-line accounting in general.

Cheers,

Johann Klähn

Hi Martin,

Just a quick suggestion to register the group with gmane.org as early as possible for archiving and searching.

Thanks.

Please note that http://furius.ca/beancount/ still reads:

"Discussions about Beancount occur on the Ledger mailing-list, which
has become the de facto discussion group for all command-line
accounting softwares."

you might want to update that.

Cheers.
