Hi, all,

is there a way to have accounts listed in a preferred logical order, instead of the alphabetical one?

For instance, if I write

ledger bal ^Assets ^Liabilities ^Equity

I get Assets, Equity, and Liabilities.

I'd like to get Assets, Liabilities, and Equity.

I guess I could use some aliases for the accounts, and real names like 01Assets, 02Liabilities, 03Equity. Is there a cleaner way?

There was a suggestion some time ago about adding metadata at the account level.  But other than that you can sort by amount.

Hello Loris - Were you able to find a clean solution to this query?

Regards,
MC
