Hi,

I'm trying to create a custom register report format whereby any notes are on a second line after the payee, e.g. instead of this:

01/08/2019 Balance carried forward                                  0        25.00 GBP
24/08/2019 subs and expenses                              -340.00 GBP      -315.00 GBP
24/08/2019 transfer from XXX to YYY                        315.00 GBP                0
09/05/2020 refs 2019/20
              Match A                                      -30.00 GBP       -30.00 GBP
              Match B                                      -30.00 GBP       -60.00 GBP
              Match C                                      -30.00 GBP       -90.00 GBP
              Match D                                      -30.00 GBP      -120.00 GBP
              Match E                                      -30.00 GBP      -150.00 GBP
              Match F                                      -30.00 GBP      -180.00 GBP
              Match G                                      -30.00 GBP      -210.00 GBP
09/05/2020 transfer from XXX to YYY                         26.00 GBP      -184.00 GBP

I've tried starting with the default format (and have remove the account) and have managed to get the notes after the total column, but I would like to have the note before the amount column as shown above. I have tried using "%/" but have not been able to get this to work. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so could you help me to figure out how to do it?

Thanks.

David

Sorry, I messed that up. The output shown is what I want to create, and Match A to Match G are the notes for each post in the transaction.

I've manged to achieve what I want by creating a little script that creates html and them uses w3m -dump to create the text view.
