There is plenty to enjoy in the base game for The Sims 4, from blasting off into space to enjoying a quiet life and achieving goals like having a family. However, sometimes Simmers want some more options, and that's where mods come in. One of the most popular of these mods is the Extreme Violence mod.

Extreme Violence is just what it sounds like, adding all sorts of dark and evil actions into the game to allow your Sims to be feared by all. If violence isn't your thing, it's best to step away from this mod before even downloading it.

The Extreme Violence Mod by SacrificialMods is a mod for the base game of The Sims 4, and as you can guess by the title, it includes tons of new extremely violent interactions for Sims to commit, which include killing other Sims using weapons, joining gangs, beating up other Sims, and more. These interactions can be committed against other Sims, or your Sim can be the victim of the violence.

The mod also features a reputation system, where Sims will earn points for violent acts they commit. The more points you have, the more feared your Sim will be in the world, and these reputation points can be cleared up, or you can leave them to be the scariest Sim in town.

The Extreme Violent Mod can be downloaded directly from SacrificialSims' Download Page, where you will need to scroll down and find the Extreme Violence Mod. You must download the zip file and put it in your Sims 4 Mod folder, which can be found under Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 4 > Mods.

Once the zip file is in your Mods folder, right-click on the zip file and chooseExtract Here to unzip the contents if you're on a PC. On Mac, you can double-click on the zip file to unzip it. Inside the zip file is a folder with the same name, which contains everything needed for the mod, including ts4script files and PACKAGE files.

When you want to use the Extreme Violence Mod on other Sims, click on the Sim you want to interact with and choose Extreme Violence. This will bring up multiple ways your Sim can interact with others using the mod.

There are over 40 ways to kill the selected Sim and multiple ways to beat the other Sim up. Any interaction in the mod that isn't violent, including asking the other Sim to be your partner in crime, stealing money, and framing the Sim for your crimes, can be found under Non-Violent Interactions.

If you want the chosen Sim to be immune to the effects of the mod, you can select this under Options, which includes disabling reactions to violence, and to be immune to be killed or beaten up.

The Extreme Violence Mod also has a variety of interactions that can be found by clicking on the Sim you're currently controlling, and like with other Sims, you can choose Extreme Violence to interact with the Mod. These interactions include checking your Sim's reputation, calling the cops, calming your Sim down, sending them into a Rage, and more.

Mods are what really make The Sims 4 feel fresh and exciting, and there's a myriad of them out there, thanks to an extremely active modding community run mostly by passionate fans. Thanks to how common mods are for PC players, many mods have become infamous and popular over time.

One such mod is the Extreme Violence mod, which adds a hefty dose of real-world realism and horror slasher themes into any happy-go-lucky Sims neighborhood. It's a pretty big mod to download, so it's important that players know how to download the Extreme Violence mod in Sims 4 to avoid the game from breaking.

Updated March 31, 2023, by Rain Egan: As the Sims franchise continues to evolve, so do the mods that enhance the experience of the game. Now that the base game is free, the franchise has seen a significant increase in players that don't necessarily want to drop the now hundreds of dollars on every Experience, Game, and Stuff Pack that EA has to offer. That's where mods come in, but not all mods are built the same. The Extreme Violence mod offers features that EA does not. It is at its core a family-friendly game, and the Extreme Violence mod contradicts that message. So, for new and old players alike, here's an updated take on how to download the popular mod, streamlined with additional troubleshooting.

The Extreme Violence mod is one of the most famous mod packs from Sacrificial Mods, a major mod creator in The Sims 4 community. They're best known for their mind-blowingly detailed and immersive mods that deal with zombie apocalypses, a fame system prior to Get Famous coming out, and various other large mods worth discovering.

Extreme Violence deals with exactly what it promises: violence. Players should expect gruesome animations, new interactions, and loads of blood. Sims can now murder one another in various ways, engage in illegal activities and even deal with the police.

It's not a mod for the faint of heart or for younger players, so older gamers should use caution if they share their PC or game with younger audiences. For the full list of features, refer to Sacrificial Mod's website where the mod can be downloaded from.

Note that whenever The Sims 4 receives an update, custom content, and script mods are disabled by default. This means that players will need to re-enable them from the menu after major patch updates, expansions or game packs, and so on.

Players should keep an eye out for the mod creator's news page as well, as they will regularly update their mod packs and release new versions with fixes and brand-new features. Doing all this will prevent players from breaking their game.

The Extreme Violence mod, to the surprise of no one, allows Sims to carry out extremely violent acts that can be quite disturbing. Player discretion is advised since pretty much the entirety of this mod features unnecessary and horrifying acts of brutality that can genuinely make Sims unhinged.

The Extreme Violence mod lets players violently assault and choke other Sims to the point of near death. If fists aren't enough to get the point across, then Sims can just straight up take a knife and stab others too. There are two variations of this attack, with the chest stabbing being quite brutal as Sims leap at their target and violently stab them multiple times. Of course, both variants lead to the death of a Sim.

The content present in the Extreme Violence mod is pretty gory and not for the faint of heart. Regardless, props should be given to the mod creator for adding so many interactions and making this mod feel pretty fleshed out, twisted as it may be.

As a mod that impacts gameplay so significantly, the Extreme Violence mod tends to break every time there's a major patch to the game. It's also rather complex to install, so it's understandable that players will encounter difficulties when figuring out how to get it to work properly in the game. Here is a list of troubleshoots for anyone having issues:

However I am experiencing extreme lag and choppiness especially when playing on the fastest time speed but it also happens sometimes on normal game speed. I'm playing on a clean template of Pleasantview, I ran HoodChecker etc. I did everything I could find on Google about optimizing the game for newer computers.

The game is most likely to lag a little on high speed anyway, but you can try lowering the view distance in game options and seeing if that helps; that works in my game when I have lots of neighborhood decorations. Since you use Sims2RPC, check if you increased Lot Imposter and shadow quality, those will cause some lag because they increase detail beyond normal game limits.

@xbringmeflowers You could lower it to see if there are any differences. I play in 1920x1080 but haven't had any issues. You can also switch between windowed and fullscreen modes to see if they perform the same.

First, mess around with the sliders as they already are, maxing them or minimizing them wherever you want those extreme features. For a cyclops, I tried to get eyes as close together as possible. Custom sliders help.

With a cyclops, that helps you get the eyes so close together that they start merging, selling the illusion that the sim is a legit cyclops. This trick can do lots of stuff, like huge features, or a forehead face, or maybe no face at all.

Welp it's that time again, after some time away from the game I've come back, embarked on, and completed my classic simulating adventure, with a couple of twists. This uses the That 70s Mod Updated by The Blonde Bomber, I believe from version 1.5 given the wrestlers that are around/not around but I am unsure as I downloaded the database quite a while ago. I also added a few mods of yet to debut workers for CV2020 and potentially some other federations but I cannot remember which.

IMPORTANT: This is NOT an accurate simulation of the true Cverse 1977 data. After experimenting with many sims I got so annoyed at the booking decisions and owner decisions that I chose to make a couple of across-the-board edits to the data. Firstly, all potential bookers start the game with 100 in Booking Skill. This was mainly done to prevent huge companies like SWF hiring terrible bookers (like The Big Easy, who I believe had 21 Booking Skill in one sim) and then causing their own downfall by refusing to sack them. Secondly, all potential owners AND bookers who started the game as active wrestlers were set to only be able to become owners or bookers AFTER the age of 40. This was to prevent instances that I'd had in previous simulations where truly world class wrestlers like Jeremy Stone/Sam Keith would be stuck owning various insignificant-small promotions instead of wrestling at their true levels. Another minor edit was spreading out the opening dates of the three Indian promotions so that they had more chance of survival (set to 1982, 1992 and 2002)
