TheThunder is a close to mid-range (up to 500 meters, with a 75-meter optimal range) heavy kinetic shotgun. It has an Alpha, Beta, light and medium counterpart (Grom, Squall, Gust and Storm respectively) and can be viewed as the kinetic counterpart to the Glory and Devastator.
Despite a maximum range of 500 meters, an optimal range would be about 75 meters or less, due to the wide spread of the shells. Below 100 meters a Thunder can quickly eliminate or at the least maim a heavy robot. The Thunder is especially effective against heavy robots due to their large hit area, which allows more of the shell fragments to hit.
Even at low levels, the Thunder is a force to be reckoned with, but when upgraded to higher levels it can do appreciable damage from even 300 meters. With a fire rate of 1 RPS and the ability to reload while firing, it can do very heavy damage in a brief amount of time. Due to its RWF system (reload while firing), it can continuously fire significantly more rounds than its full magazine.
However, because the robot must get close to an enemy to do significant damage, it will be vulnerable to enemy fire at longer distances. Therefore, it is vital to take advantage of cover as much as possible to minimize damage while getting into a good engagement range (about 200 meters and under if possible.)
Because the Thunder is a close-range gun, it is most commonly seen on fast moving medium robots since they can quickly close range. Commonly seen setups are the Thunder Schutze, Thunder/Orkan Boa, and Pinata/Thunder Vityaz. However, Carnage and Lancelot possibly are the best bots for Thunder, due to their power and rush abilities. Thunders can also be seen on Raijins, due to its Bastion ability and large health pool.
It is not uncommon to see Thunders equipped on heavy robots like the Leo or Natasha for use as heavily armored shotgun platforms which have the staying power to hold off multiple enemy robots. Even though heavier robots generally have more HP and power, they also tend to have much lower movement speeds. This makes closing distances to actually do damage a problem, although this is somewhat negated (in the case of Leo) by their very high HP, and with more than one heavy slot (in the case of Natasha), moderate damage.
The Thunder is also an effective shield-breaker. This is because it can damage energy shields even at 400-500 meters due to bullet spread, and does double damage to physical shields as it is a kinetic weapon.

Completing battle tasks in the special mission will allow you to open prize stages and receive rewards corresponding to the number of stages. Tasks are divided into two types: those that start on a specific date and are available until the very end of the event, and temporary ones, which are relevant only for two days. Special tasks highlighted in the list below, might be performed simultaneously with each other and with temporary tasks.
Each unlocked stage will bring you a prize, depending on how many stages you have unlocked in total. In addition to each prize, you will receive a trophy containing RP and SL boosters for 10 battles, 5 backups, or 100,000 SL. List of prizes:
The WSP-9 is a small multi-purpose helicopter drone, equipped with a laser pulse emitter for clearing rubble and demolishing small buildings. For military purposes, the emitter can be effectively used to engage lightly armored vehicles and enemy troops.
To carry out repairs of agricultural, military and other equipment outside the repair shops, the WSP-9 drone is equipped with the electron beam welding torch, capable of repairing refractory metals of tank armor. In the army service, the Pchela repair drones are used by military technician and mechanic units. The Repair Pchela provides control over the BR-1 Burav robot.
The mining robot BR-1 Burav was created at Facility 3826 as an autonomous equipment for earthworks, including in rocky conditions, as well as terraforming the Moon and other planets. It is a worm-like mechanism consisting of rotating cylindrical sections and a head with rotary underreamers. The BR-1 is controlled by repair robots of the WSP-9 series.
So Marco wanted too know if I would be able to work with his large HD scan files, like what he would make for the Diamond Planet project. So he sent me a supper large scan file of Big Loo's head. The idea was to just see what I could do to it, then marco suggested that Big Loo's head might make a great new body for a Thunder robot. I have zerro interest in the this idea other than it gave me a direction to work towards. So I took the big file and worked my magic. And here is Thunder Loo. Now because the mechanical guts ona thinder robot are all to front since the back insides are all battery box and Big Loos face is inset so deep that ment that the onlky way the thunder mechanics would fit was if they were turned around. That ment that the feet would have to be changed in 1 of 3 ways so they would make the robot walk forward with the guts backwards
and that the arms that used to raise to fire and had gravity and a spring to pull them back down would now have to start in the up position and go down to fire would find it hard to go back up since gravity was now not there friend. So it became Surprise attack Thunder Loo. The robot is clearly surrendering when you start him up "don't shoot !" but with out warning his arms come down with guns blaising, then they stay that way since the attack has started.
a few picture of the build. I printed the head in glow in the dark green since I had a roll of it that cost me bucks and no one has wanted a glow in the dark green bot. Then in the end I painted the robot to Big Loo colors except for the face that still has the glow in the dark green back color.
We are introducing a separate lineup of secret Soviet robots created in collaboration with Atomic Heart! Here you will find the most diverse vehicles. For example, MA-9 Belyash welding robot inspired by chimpanzees which can easily climb even on vertical surfaces and this makes it a perfect scout. Designed for repair and construction work, the NA-T256 Natasha is equipped with a jetpack that allows it to launch vertically and reach speeds of up to 95 km/h. It is also armed with anti-personnel mines, a rocket launcher and Katyusha 3.0 multiple rocket launcher, making it indispensable in support. Air attack equipment such as the MTU-7 Bumblebee truck with laser system or a small-sized mobile drone LUC-1 Owl with ShKAS automatic machine guns are also widely represented in the lineup.
honestly I know this is an April fools joke but I would love to see this as a game, or a game mode. but this joke does look good but I'm now annoyed as I have no clue what they would look like as a 3d render. so this annoys me.
Very interesting crossover, atomic heart is such a good game i will follow this with great interest since i love mechs and dieselpunk, i know this is april fools but it would be a very nice game mode inside of war thunder especially if you could use those mechs in custom battles.
Early humanoid robots probably won't be able to do much that Fraunhofer's self-balancing evoBOT can't do much faster, and its new autonomous, omnidirectional Odyn pallet jack looks like another slam dunk for logistics and warehousing.
Humanoids are well and truly the Next Big Thing, and they've been stealing all the headlines lately, but as Figure founder and CEO Brett Adcock told us a couple of months ago, they're unlikely to be found doing much more than picking things up, carrying them around, and putting them down again when they first start rolling out and doing useful work.
