Apple finally got back with me today. They rejected my app at 7 PM
central time tonight for the following reason:

"LED iLight cannot be posted because it contains references to a beta
version. Any reference to beta needs to be removed from the metadata."

In my application description, I had the following reference:

"The next update includes several features requested by Beta users."

So my app sat in review for 5 days and now Apple decides to reject it
because the word beta is in the description.

I have removed all that from the description. The email stated I do
not have to resubmit my binary, so hopefully the reviewer will see the
change tomorrow, and just flip the Approved switch.

I'll keep you guys posted. Very frustrated right now.

moved from Rejected to In Review at 9:06 PM Central time.... Hopefully
something gets approved in the next 24 hours....

I wonder if Apple employs high AI robots or actual humans....

Dear Kevin

I love the app. Its simple, powerful, reliable, fast (the flashlight almost start immediately) and is looking good. The idea to turn on at starting the app its awesome. For .99 cents, and the convenience of the light its a steal, great job!!!

The gray and black finish don't bother the eye sight. I let the iphone stand with the light on for more than 8 minutes and never shut down. Last sufficient for any task. The light is very energy efficient just consumes 4% (8 minute test) of the charge in my test.

You can use the app and talk at the same time. I test using bluetooth and the app and works flawlessly

UPGRADE - I would like to see the remain battery % when running the app. Is there a way to see the battery status when running the add? That will be really good feature. Is important to see if we are running out of power.

Excellent job Kevin

Sam

Yup I.m planning on adding that back in. I had to remove the % earlier because of something else, but I have worked around that now and shouldnt have any problem adding it back in.

Just made the update to add the status bar back in. I'll post it tomorrow.

Are you planning on releasing an iAd version at all?
