I'm proud to announce that LED iLight has been submitted for review.
I will be sure to keep this post updated when Apple approves it.

Feel free to post any questions you have! I am excited, and have it
used every night since I got my iPhone 4 :)

Excellent job. I will buy immediately after approve. This app will
work with multitasking? I would like to turn on this app and using
another one like facetime, compass, maps, maybe mail, or messaging
etc.

Great job!! guys

Hey Sam,

The app does support 'Multitasking,' but unfortunately not the way you
are envisioning it. So far, it looks like there are no legal ways to
keep the LED on if you switch to another app. However, it does
support multitasking in the way that if you switch from the app and
come back, the app resumes in the state you left it, including having
the LED on if that's the way you left it.

There are a few shady ways we might be able to leave the LED on, but
I'm doubting Apple allows it. Once this app is approved, I may take a
stab at submitting it with shady methods and see if Apple allows it.

Thats good enough for now! It's a very handy app without the need of draining the battery with the camera and led on at the same time. Keep the good work and thanks for your answer.

Still in the Apple Review.... I'm hopeful for tomorrow.

I'm wrapping up the first update as we speak, and will be submitted that as soon as 1.0 is approved.

***UPDATE***

The app finally officially moved to In Review about 2 hours ago... I'm
hopeful it gets approved by the weekend.

I am having a VERY hard time waiting on apple to approve this app! To
have a app to just use to led would be GREAT! I mean how many people
use their phones for flashlights now days. Some phones even have a
spasific led for it. It just makes sense. A great feature to add would
be a strobe function. With a variable speed as well. Thanks for all of
ur hard work I hope the app gets approved soon!

Thanks William. I completed some major updates today. One thing that has come up in beta testing is that the original app did not support background music playing from iPod/Pandora, and that has been addressed with the changes I made today.

I am also going to add in a strobe light feature, but I am trying not to overload the UI with extra gimmicks, and give people access to a solid flashlight that 'just works'.

I've already decided that if Apple doesn't approve the app by tomorrow, that I am going to get beta copies to all you guys here on the google group.
