Is there a way to implement Lector online?

I am working in the development of a document management software and found Lector on my research. I am actually making a version of lector on my website so if I have a chance to stop inventing the wheel it would be great, otherwise, suggestions are welcome and also will be glad to share my solutions with other developers.
