Iam trying to pull in data from one sheet to another using index/match. I am positive that this formula is correct because I use it about 100 times throughout all of my sheets. In this particular sheet, this formula is not pulling in the data that is clearly in the source sheet, but not populating the receiving sheet.
My formula in the receiving sheet is as follows. I am add in all of the QTY's that appear in the ITEMS RECEIVED source sheet when it matches the bar code. Since 128 were received and none were removed (different sheet), this cell should read 128 when this formula is applied.
This looks for the apostrophe, CHAR(39), using ASCII nomenclature, which equals an apostrophe. I used this because otherwise it's hard to see the apostrophe nested in the middle of two sets of double quotes. You could write it as "'" if you wanted. The formula looks for an apostrophe if it's there and substitutes a blank, which means all that remains is BARCODE. If no apostrophe it will just search the data for the BARCODE as normal.
You can find references to the specific functions Index, Match and Collect in the Learning center but I'm not sure of place that explains the difference between Index/Match and Index/Collect exactly. The COLLE.CT is a very powerful function and is probably the one I use most frequently- it can be paired with so many other functions.
An Index/Collect can almost always be used - similar to how COUNTIFS and SUMIFS can always be used vs the singular COUNTIF and SUMIF. The Index/Match is typically more restrictive, similar to how restrictive COUNTIF and SUMIF are (which is why, personally, I never use COUNTIF and SUMIF). As a rule of thumb, I use Index/Match when I have one criteria I am going to match. If there are multiple criteria - or if the criteria is complex, I will switch to an Index/Collect. I stress though this is a rule of thumb and one can make the Index/Match more complex. You'll get a feel for these as you progress with formulas.
I opened a support ticket, but I can't close this pop-up no matter what I click or what browser I use and I'm wondering if anyone has any insight. I'm LOCKED OUT of my work because of some stupid UI refresh alert. ?
But still I am getting the error "Error pulling configurations from the search head cluster captain"
I also ran splunk resync shcluster-replicated-config after rolling-restart.
But still not fix. and I am getting above errors
Even though teh tarik is a simple drink with only two or three ingredients (depending on the family recipe), the art of manually pulling the tea and milk into one luscious and frothy concoction comes with no shortcuts or machines. At Kopitiam, there are no pre-mixed batches of teh tarik; each drink is made-to-order.
I recently started using the SharePoint Input tool and I'm having trouble seeing/pulling all the data that is available on the specified sheet. Not sure why but I have about 2000+ rows of data but the tool is only pulling/displaying about 800 rows of data. Is there something I need to change in the tool settings to be able to view all the data rows?
Apologies, i should have said that I'm trying to bring in data from an Excel workbook that resides in SP, after I specified which sheet I need data from i'm not getting all the rows only just about half of the rows with data is coming in after I run the flow.
But if I change the value of the calendar (bolded in the example formula above) from my primary calendar to a secondary calendar, the Google Calendar column in the table recoils in horror, per the screenshot below:
That does the trick! Thanks so much for your help here. I understand FormulaMap much better as a result, and I got this experiment working. This is going to solve a big issue for me, so I am really excited.
On pulling in two calendars, I believe that should work as well. An alternative would be to make one button for each calendar, and then either press both of them or create another button or an automation that presses both of them using the Push Buttons action.
This post was from before we launched Packs with Sync Tables. The Google Calendar Pack will now let you add multiple calendars to pull in data from and it will sync. I would give things a try with the new pack first and let us know if you get stuck anywhere.
You guys are wonderful! I was pulling my hair out trying to understand why data was not inserting into a notification email action from a new record trigger. It work fine in testing but when I ran it by manually creating a new record (+ in table) the email had blank values.
Your comment that the trigger fired on the + when the record was blank was the answer. When I used a form to create the record, all the form values inserted into the email.
Have a great weekend! You made my day :slightly_smiling_face:
What are the field types of the blank fields? If they are calculated fields, such as formula fields, lookups, or roll ups, they technically can be blank when you first create the record, even when you create the record by duplicating an existing record. This is because it takes time for the calculations to occur and produce a value.
Thank you for posting that you found the answer to your problem. Some community members volunteer a lot of effort into answering questions and it is always nice to hear that our answers help more than just the original poster.
I'm having a similar issue but am using a form, so I'm unsure where to go next. The automation is triggered when the form is submitted. The automation sends the submitter of the form a confirmation that the form is submitted. The run history shows that the automation is running (no failed indicator), when I look at the automation ACTION, it says that the To: Field is blank. I have that field populated with a field from a table that is selected to use the value.. which is an email address. it worked several weeks ago and it's now not working. This table hasn't been used until today. The previous testing had everything working and now it's not. I'm the only one to create the databases and automation and I haven't been in the table for weeks. Any help is appreciated.
Plain oils provide a detoxifying affect from chewing and swooshing, whereas our concentrate is like a 3-lane highway with 3 major benefits. If you are oil pulling, why not get 3 complete wellness benefits instead of just one?
I mainly want to know the force constant changes of the spring that pulls this flat particle during the whole pulling, and then know the friction of this flat particle against the surface. It would be appreciated a lot if someone can help. Thanks!
Thanks for the explanation. I am trying to simulate friction as people always do in Lammps. I tested different pulling rates and spring force constants. For example, I used 0.001 nm/ps, 602 kJ mol^-1 nm^-2 for the constraint to pull the particle in the X direction on a surface. In total, my simulation is 12ns with 0.002 ps as the timestep, so I pulled the particle for 12nm. I attached the figures of pullf.xvg and pullx.xvg from this simulation. The force and distance increase linearly with respect to the simulation time. The pullx.xvg shows that the particle moves at a steady speed, but I am confused about the pullf.xvg curve, why the force is increasing throughout the simulation?

In addition to the pulling reaction coordinate, I had two other reaction coordinates that press the particle in the z-direction and prevent the surface from moving. I also used enforced rotation to prevent my flat particle from falling down, so I can investigate the friction between my particle edge and surface. Below is my MDP file.
There are several issues here, but I am not sure what is causing the increase in pull force. I suspect that the rotation code might reset the group to the original location, try pulling without the rotation code active to check if that is the cause.
The reason why I use SD is that I want to use Langevin thermostat. My simulation box includes the particle, the surface, and a few water molecules, so most of the box is empty. I got to know that in this case, the Langevin thermostat is better than other thermostats such as v-rescale that is more suitable for homogeneous systems.
I can try to add restraints on the z coordinates of the particle to prevent falling rather than using enforced rotation, but in this way, the z restraints that prevent falling will compete with the loading I add on the particle, further affecting the friction simulation. It is worth a try to see if the pull force keeps increasing without using enforced rotation.
One good thing is that the pulling force did not increase linearly when I use the pull angle coordinate but fluctuate around zero. I used four reaction coordinates in total. 1. Pulling with constraint in the x-direction. 2. Pressing with constant force in the z-direction. 3. Large constraint in the x-direction to prevent the surface from moving when pulling the particle. 4. Pulling angle coordinate with umbrella to make the particle parallel to the z-axis.
The reason why I tether the surface with a strong spring is that the bottom of the particle has a strong interaction with the surface. During pulling, the surface also moves in the x direction. Yes, I can try to use a single pull coordinate to pull the molecule with respect to the surface.

Thanks. The second question is that if we look at the green curve (the pull angle restraint in the z direction), most of the time it was negative, which means the particle tends to lean forward in the pulling, so the pull angle restraint tries to prevent this process by adding a negative force. Will this negative force counteract some pulling force?
