Wow! Where did you get that? Jeramiah Braithwaite Esq. a good solid
Yorkshire name. Yes I designed them and owned the company with Mike
Harris. There were two models; one mains powered with adjustable
input loading and the other was battery powered. Both were housed in
an attractive black aluminium tube. I can't remember the model
numbers (I think one was an ST17) but each had a completely different
circuit design to the other.

They were well reviewed at the time and we did a lot of export
business particularly to Germany and Canada but eventually I was too
busy with other projects to continue.

You couldn't do me a couple of good photographs could you ?

Thought i remembered these, i have a 1979 feb. copy of HiFi Answers
with a review of 7 head amps inc 2 Jeremiah Braithwaite Esq.(what a
mouthfull) One was the ST17, a battery powered model, the other was a
mains powered job called RA14. Reviewed by Peter J Comeau they both
did very well with Peter prefferring the battery one. Prices in that
year were given as RA14- £77.62, ST17-£49.50
Another question here for Stan or anybody who might have some info, I
walked into a 2nd hand shop a couple of weeks ago and spotted a
Cambridge amp. This one is called Integer.. As they had a sale on i
bought it for £20 and and am quite pleased with it. It's very well
put together with hardly any plastic in sight. It has 5 large front
rotary controls, solid ally, Three front push buttons and a push
button on the rear changing the phono from m/m to m/c. After taking
it to pieces and giving it a good clean,(was a bit grubby) i put it in
my system. It sounds very good indeed on both cd and phono. A web
search reveals nothing about this amp so any help would be
appreciated.

end, switch and led at one of the ends and an earth point at the
other, bit like a black torch without the shiny bit!

Steve I'd love a scan of the review sometime.

The Cambridge Audio Integer is another of my designs from the early
1980s. It is similar to the earlier P55 so is probably good for 50 or
60 watts per channel. It was a good design at the time but the
British made controls are a bit wobbly by today's standards.

I can't remember much about the design. I recently found a schematic
of the lower powered P40 version (not the original 1970 model) so I
expect the Integer would be very similar

You know I'd completely forgotten that amplifier ever existed. Talk
about coming out of the woodwork................

My one got Radio Moscow. All the time. I believe this is known as an
'undocumented benefit'

Hi Stan
Been using it for last couple of weeks to see if I like it as much as
the Lentek I normally use,and to be honest I don't,seems to generate
random clicks and pops into my system(rf noise?),so if you want the
head amp,or anybody does make me an offer(got too much gear:-must be
true my wife says so!):-its the battey powered model

Actually I'd love it. I would guess that the tantalum bead capacitors
are pretty much finished by now. They were'nt that good to start with
and old age........
