Also presumably there is noone around that knows how to exploit the loot body on pve (no details given, few details known, never tried, but the way I got to know this, that exploit is VERY common knowledge)

Nope sorry for the confusion. When offline we can still be affected by temperature and the buffs related to temperature from fireplaces, torches, buildings, etc. Also if we die our loot bags will decay.

True, but Ayok listed PVE as play. Good point though to remember when logging out. My wife managed to log off with her head sticking through the wall of the first floor of our main tower. Had it been a PVP server, she would have been toast.

Ideally, if you are able to reproduce this issue consistently, please share the location, a few screenshots of the area and position to logout, and any detailed steps to take, so that we can share this data with the QA team for further investigation.

I left my phone somewhere in my house last Monday and I can't find it. I used the Find My iPhone App to search it right after I lost it and it said the last known location was in my house. I tried to play the sound, but it didn't work for some reason. This was a week ago, and now it is obviously dead. I have been looking franticly every night and I've been checking the Find My iPhone App (and using Lost Mode/Notify When Found) and it says it's still offline. I've looked up every tutorial/video possible about trying to search for my dead iPhone but I've had no luck. Do any of you have any experience with this or any ideas? It'd be greatly appreciated!

I recently installed a series of Arlo cameras in my elderly parents' home. They both have illnesses and it's a great way for my siblings and I to check in on them when we're not able to physically be there. I have the same camera setup in our vacation home, they work great and I'm very accustomed to using them.

Since I installed the cameras in my parents home, on multiple occasions the cameras all go offline at once, as if they lost power or the base station had an issue. Every time this has happened it was because the batteries in the cameras all needed to be replaced...all five cameras at the same time, more often than not the batteries have had significant battery life left before the situation occurs.

Assuming that this was an issue of one of my siblings not understanding how the cameras or Arlo app worked, I assumed it was someone that turned the cameras on to view and never turned them off when leaving the app, thereby allowing the entire set of cameras to run until the batteries all exhausted. Assuming this was the case, I made sure that each sibling knew how the app worked and to explicitly turn off the cameras when they were viewing anything live.

Only two of the five cameras are set up to record on motion, and that is for 30 seconds intervals. The other three cameras have the motion detection turned off and need to be explicitly turned on to view live video.

Since I showed my siblings how the Arlo App works and made sure they understood the need to explicitly turn off the cameras, this situation has occurred about four or five more times, each time with my siblings telling me that they understand how the app works and they did not leave the cameras running.

I'm beginning to believe that this is some form of system issue. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any thoughts on what the issue may be? I'm very quickly spending a lot of money on extra CR123 batteries.

All 5 running down the batteries at the same time implies either someone turned off the base (the cameras then keep trying to connect to the nonexistent base) or perhaps a 2.4GHz wireless source of interference near the base. Spec battery life is for

BTW, the cameras will stop any live view going on when navigating away from that viewing in any way, whether closing the app or just moving around in the app. You may also want to investigate the Arlo-approved Tenergy rechargeable batteries to reduce overall battery costs long-term.

So, make sure they are NOT left on in live view ( even tho they should shut down at about 30 mins to prevent total drainage ). Battery life is bases on 5 mins per day in live view or record... so if many are looking them it can drain them faster.

For personalized support specific to the Arlo products you own, access Support from within the Arlo iOS or Android App. Simply login to your Arlo App, go to Settings, Support, then select the Arlo product you would like support for.

The internal sensors do draw cards from the skill deck as needed to ensure that there are always 3 cards available when it and the computers are online. Once the computers go offline the cards that are currently in the internal sensors remain but there is no longer any skills for it to draw.

The rules are pretty bad about explaining how all the systems work but in this case the card itself talks about drawing cards and the only place you draw cards from is the skill deck which can't be done when there is no skill deck do to the computer being offline.

The reason why you don't see any other examples of one system directly impacting another is because the other systems are not as closely related as these two are in dealing with the same end result (skill card) in a slightly different manner.

Hi everybody,

My windows started to act weird recently. Seemed like problems with explorer : Elements of menu taskbar were disappearing, folder's elements were disappearing, sound would stop working on occasions etc.
So I run the offline defender scan overnight on my lenovo y700 laptop. ..
Unfortunately my laptop died. When I plug in the charger, the light of power control on the laptop wont go on, but when i plug in an external drive to the USB, it will have the light on.

Do you know what might have happened to my laptop? Did any of it happen to other users?

please help, thanks!

PS sorry for bad label on the post, but the forum didnt let me post my own

Sometimes I just want to play by myself or start a sesh with a couple of solo warm-up rounds without being put in the awkward position of asking people to leave or declining invites. I can set my status on my console to appear offline but as soon as I get on DbD, everyone that's also playing sees that I'm not only online but in a game or lobby. Why do people need to know all this stuff? I've read that on steam, if you appear offline it'll hide you in game as well. I don't know if that's true but I wish it worked that way on PlayStation.

you can literally use DbD to stalk people. If your account has played it once in the past 5 years, your friends can use DbD to harass you. Sometimes I just want to log in briefly but DbD doesn't respect the offline status.

Omg that's scary. I hadn't even thought of that, but it's true. I'm so sorry if that happened to you. I really hope the devs address this. It would be such a welcome quality of life change for the game and community. I also love the way you worded that, "respect offline mode".

That's not possible. You must accept an invitation (or send one) for that to happen. Unless you mean you get into a random lobby that happens to have your friends. If so, that's because there are few players in your region.

I shouldn't have to explain myself every time I want to spend 20 minutes on a single player game just because of BHVR's coding. I appear offline specifically so I don't have to deal with incoming messages..

An invisible mode would be nice. Sometimes I want to just solo queue or just play with my brother and no one else and as you say it's awkward declining invites/saying no. Especially when it's a recurring thing.

I play on PS4 and at least there if someone is your friend, they can join your lobby, if you are playing survivor without needing an invite. I didn't know it was possible, until me and a friend accepted an invitation to be friends with another player, but she was super annoying, so we started avoiding her. Well, when me and my friend played, if she was online, after the match we returned to the party lobby, finding her there waiting to play with us. We were confused, because neither of us had invited her. Then we found out that if we where playing, it shows that info and there is a button to join the lobby. This is not ingame, but on the menu that says that your friends are playing.

Using that you don't need an invite to join a lobby. If the person is already in a match, the appear faded on the lobby, so you have to wait for the match to end, but when the come back, you will be there, no invite needed.

Is it possible in the future to maybe release an update that allows for ofline co-op for dead space 3? When my friend bought this game and told me about the co-op mode I was excited and ready to go. But when we started to play co-op we found out it was only for online players. I was disappointed in this and thought maybe it would be the best interest if the game makers could make a change and enable split screen co-op? I think it would be a good idea.

There are actually no plans for an local network or splitscreen feature. If you are interested in news about deadspace, keep an eye on deadspace.com, our facebook pages and other deadspace related channels.

Do i need to be playing online to get the 100% game completion in red dead redemption? I want to get my last outfit, but it says to get 100% completion and i know how to get it. I have completed all the master challenges and story missions, along with the stranger tasks, but my completion is still only 98.5%. How do I get 100% game completion?

I highly, highly, highly suggest using the RDR Social Club, even if you just create an account to view the "100% Completion" page. The 100% completion page lists everything you need in order to get 100%, and if at any point you can get online for even a few moments, it will auto-update with the latest status from your game, if your Social Club account is linked to your PSN or Xbox Live IDs.
