Power outage

We are hearing that there is a power outage along 54th A/S - our own call when ours went out briefly produced an explanation of over 12,000 homes without power.  Since ours came back on in a few minutes, there seem to be two different outages.  We were told that the 12,000+ event would not be corrected until after 1 p.m.
