Subject: lost tortoise

One of our tortoises broke out sometime today.  If anyone sees her, we miss her and would be so glad to know she's safely home.

Her name is Jambo.  She is a beautiful red-footed tortoise.  She's shy but not super shy and absolutely gentle.  She answers to her name...eventually.  (Slow but steady, you know.)

Please do NOT put her in the water.  She is a land tortoise (NOT a turtle) and would drown.

We imagine she might be in the area of Granada, Green Way, or Fairway, but tortoises aren't necessarily as slow as you might think.  She will likely take cover near or under a hedge or some bushes, even bromeliads.

Photo attached.  Jambo is the tortoise at the top of the photo with the "cherry" spots on her head and legs.  Thanks for your help.

Kendra
