Exception when ruuning the app

I downloaded the source code, and tried to run, when I click "PDF example" it shows exception and crashes.
The Exception pointer comes on line @synchronized (pageCache) {
[pageCache setObject:pageImage forKey:pageIndexNumber];
}
under the function cachedImageForPageIndex on page LeavesCache.m
Please advice.
