I am creating a list of the most commonly used phrases. Do you have
any ideas what they might be? Which phrases do you think would be
common?

One way of looking at how frequently an English phrase is used is to
consult Hollywood. If you have a minute, try putting the following
text into the Google search engine and see how many times the phrase
in commas comes up in films:
