First Hackathon with kids in Berlin
Details of the event are here.
We are doing first Hack with kids in Berlin on 28th of April at Immobilien Scout/Andreasstr.10. The workshops will be held in English and German. This event is free to attend but donations are encouraged. Please register for the event by filling in this form: http://bit.ly/ZQEfij.

For Labor day come and meet a Robot that can do all the work for you! 
We will do some robotic workshops for kids at 16.00 in Betahaus and after give participants and opportunity to meet and interact with the humanoid robot
developed by Pal Robotics Barcelona.

Learn to design your workshops for kids!


During the Code Motion conference we will present Hackidemia  and ran a hands-on, practical workshop that shows you how to design your own digital fabrication (making) workshops for kids. The participants will learn how to use and create educational software, toolkits, toys, and tangible user interfaces.

The first part of the workshop will consist of a brief introduction to microelectronics and Makey-Makey, as well as the creation of a simple musical room where every object creates a different sound.

In the second part we will learn to program the wearable LEDs with Blockly. and extract DNA from strawberries.

Making happening everywhere
As it was announced in the previous newsletter, on 16th of April, HacKIDEmia was presented at 33rd Berlin’s Pecha Kucha. Audio and slides are available here
