It’s April and spring has finally sprung! If you enjoy listening to the sweet song of birds in the trees and children playing outside, why not bring a little melody and verse into your classroom with poetry? Spring is a time of new beginnings, and whether that means trying a new strategy with your students or that you’ll be learning something new to grow your practice, it’s time to shake off Old Man Winter and get moving. Spring also means summer is right around the corner, so there’s not much time left to make an impact with these students.
