Of general interest and with some specific info about using LRMI in Learning Registry, as well as more general and useful on implementing LRMI/Schema.org.

Hope all's well for everyone,

Steve

Hi all,

AEP is happy to announce two new LRMI user guides:

The Content Developer's Guide to the LRMI and Learning Registry: http://goo.gl/5wWaf

The Smart Publisher's Guide to LRMI Tagging: http://goo.gl/2AnXY

Many thanks to Michael Jay and the Educational Systemics team, Steve Nordmark at Knovation, Jason Hoekstra at inBloom, and a number of folks in the group here who contributed and/or reviewed these.

The LRMI/LR guide breaks down some of the complex pieces that intersect various education metadata and "big data" initiatives, and the tagging guide outlines some best practices for organizing your tagging process and workflow based on observations documented during AEP's proof of concept tagging program.

We hope these will be useful pieces in helping facilitate LRMI implementation. I suspect these will be living documents with periodic updates as new information becomes available, so please feel free to reach out with any questions and/or suggestions for ways to make these more useful.

Thanks,
-Dave
