If you would like to attend please contact directly as there will not
be time to organise an ANTaR group.

A Night by the Fire with Mark Sheppard and Liz Skitch
Enjoy a night by the fire with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander people at kuril dhagun, the State Library's Indigenous
Knowledge Centre. Sit and yarn and enjoy the glow of the fire
surrounded by city lights.
On Tue 4 May, Mark Sheppard, one of Queensland's most dynamic and
funniest Indigenous performers and Liz Skitch, comedian and theatre
maker share their motivations, inspiration and highlights of their
successful productions including The Clown from Snowy River and
Chasing the Lollyman.
Chasing the Lollyman is a celebration of urban Indigenous identity
that takes a satirical look at the media and popular culture. The show
wooed Queensland audiences earlier this year with sellout shows and
rave reviews.
As we approach Reconciliation Week we take a look at how Mark and Liz
have come together in the development of Chasing the Lollyman and
created a successful culturally unique theatre show.
Reconciliation Celebrations at State Library 26 May – 3
June.
Chasing the Lollyman is on show at the State Library of Queensland 5-8
July.
When
Tue 2 May, 6.30pm

Where
kuril dhagun, level 1,
State Library of Queensland

Cost
Free event. No bookings required
