Hi moms,
Here are the details for the activity for this week.
Date - this Saturday October 13
Plan - Lunch at Matunga followed by a walking Tour of Dharavi
Meeting venue - Cafe Mysore at Matunga
Meeting time - 1.15 pm sharp
Pick up venue - Outside Mahim station
Pick up time - around 5 pm
Dress code - jeans, t shirt, closed shoes
To carry - a writing pad or notebook, a pen or pencil, a small bottle of water
Not allowed - no cameras allowed,no gadgets. no wearing shorts
Cell phones not to be used there - can carry but keep in bag or pocket.
Look forward to seeing the kids.
We will be accompanying the kids for the lunch n tour.
In case any kid is unable to make it, please let us know by tomorrow so that we can book the tour accordingly.
Request you to please send the kids on time.
Do e mail or call us if u have any queries.

| Hi All, We would require anyone of you to help us manage the children as we would be dividing the children into two groups to be assisted by two mothers for each group. Alka, Shantanu,and myself would be doing the needful.Any volunteers please.Also we would need one extra car and driver as we have two cars and two drivers only. Do let us know. Thanks, Ritu / Alka |

Hi All,
Just to clarify - this tour is being conducted by a NGO Reality Gives (u can check their website) - they regularly do these tours for school kids including a recent one they did for grade 7 of DAIS - we got the reference from friends whose kids are in grade 7 and had gone for this tour - they highly recommended this for kids. They plan to show them the various business activities which take place there including recycling, leather, pottery etc etc etc.
