Helloooo Moms !!

Its Mihika's and Kimaya's turn this March .... and we are doing an "Introduction to Animation" Workshop. Here are the details :

About the Workshop : Bringing Life to Art

Stop Motion Animation is among the earliest forms of Animation, and also one of the most versatile and creatively engaging. Stop Motion Animation can be made with objects and materials of all kinds, from simple drawings to complex figures. At the workshop, children will view Stop Motion Animation pieces, experiment with the medium and make short, simple sequences either individually or in groups to understand the workings of the medium. The exercises can then be replicated at home to make longer works where children may fully explore the potential of this technique and, with it, their own creative genius.

Conducted by : Pomegranate (Pomegranate have week-long summer workshops for Animation, and are fairly highly regarded in this area)

Date: 13th March, Wednesday
Timings: 4pm - 6pm
Ages: 11-14
Duration: 2hrs

Venue : most probably P L Deshpande Academy, (Ravindra Natya Mandir), Prabhadevi

The general plan : We (Swati and I) will collect the kids after school at 3pm on Wednesday 13th March and bring them to the venue. Parents can have their kids collected from the venue itself, I guess around 6.15pm. Nitty-gritty/details we'll have to figure out closer to the date.
