Did you forget the PIN on your Alcatel phone and looking for a handy solution to unlock your Alcatel phone without any software issues? So, this article will share all the possible ways to tackle your locked phone.

As Google tightens Android security, it generally secures your device by demanding a PIN, pattern, or password. Your phone is not useless even if you forgot the unlocking passcodes, there is a genuine way to unlock the Alcatel phone without a password.

Modern Android (5.0 or above) removed the feature to bypass your screen lock to prevent attackers from bypassing passcodes until they know it. Hence, there is no built-in way to reset the password, PIN, or pattern and gain access to your device. So, wondering how to unlock a Alcatel One Touch phone PIN?

The iToolab UnlockGo (Android) tool helps you to regain blocked access to your device without any registration or complex processes. This professional tool is recommended in these scenarios because it simply bypasses the screen lock without any scams or illegal actions.

This method works if you set up a screen lock using a third-party app. Rebooting your device in Safe mode deactivated all third-party apps by default. Hence, when you reboot your device it will be set to swipe only.

Step 2: Insert a different SIM card from the Network supplier that should not be the one your device is locked to. If a PIN is set to that card, draw it and tap OK. An unlock code will be sent to you through email.

Alcatel phones are built-in with advanced security features that protect your device but they may lock you too if you forgot your screen passcodes. The methods we share above are tested and successfully get back access to locked Alcatel phones.

When your Alcatel phone is experiencing issues like lagging, freezing, or even failing to respond to certain commands, then it might be time to reset your phone. Performing a reset will make it seem like the phone just got out of the factory. It will perform like nothing has touched it before. The downside of this is you will lose all your data, including pictures, contacts, messages, and many more; this is also called doing a factory reset on your phone.

I just got my MacBook Pro yesterday ( with Touch ID). I have already set up everything and it is working fine. Today morning, when I open macbook, in login page, it doesn't ask me to use Touch ID already. Setting is okay but it doesn't ask in my login screen. I just delete all finger data and shut down. It is not okay. It just doesn't ask when I login to computer. How shall I do?

The issue I was having was that I could not swap between different user accounts on my computer...the Touch ID and password option were not showing up so I would have to completely log out of one account in order to log in to another. This may help for some issues:

- Hit "Shift", "Control", "Option" and the power button all at the same time and hold it for 15-20 seconds. Nothing should happen, well, nothing that you will see anyway. (The key combination resets something with the Touch ID)

I found the only way Touch ID works to unlock your machine is when you have fast user switching turned on under user and groups options. that feature is turned off by default. once you have that turned on you can click your name on upper right and click log in screen, this will bring you to the log in prompt screen without actually logging out of the computer. from there you can unlock your machine using the Touch ID.. other than that it seems to be unable to do it when you reboot or when you log out and try to log back in using touch id it simply doesn't prompt you on the touch bar.

I bought my Mac 4 months ago, and 2 days ago I did some updates, and after the updates the Touch ID was not asked in the log in anymore. As normal thought I deleted the fingerprint, put a new one, but nothing!

Now I went to the system preferences and in the Touch ID area I unticked all the boxes, restart the pc, went again and ticked all the boxes this time, and restarted once more. After this it's working perfectly ?

Same here. I have been trying to use the Touch ID to unlock but its not working. Tried re-doing it but it says setup fail even before i try doing it. It seems like the Touch ID has been deactivated or something.

This is so strange, the same thing just happened to me, only I had been using my Mac for 1 week and actually used the log in password several times, but all of a sudden it was not the correct one anymore. It must be some apple error when the same thing happened to other users.

2) If the problem persist you could try deleting all your keychains password both local items and logins. Before you do this make sure you remember all your password because this will delete ALL your previously saved password somehow that seems to solve the problem.

-Then ALLOWING the option for "Require password ______ after sleep or screen saver begins". Click on the tick on the left to allow it, and then select the duration before a password is required after the screen saver begins.

Same exact issue as DanReed. However I believe mine stopped working during one of the apple updates. It hasn't worked in at least a month, so I'm also just logging in manually. I've read some articles that give some really complex steps to resolve it, which seems to defeat the purpose of having a mac. Right now, I'm hoping it gets resolved in an upcoming macOS patch. Otherwise we have this really nice, unusable feature. Please advise is anyone has heard back from Apple on this issue since these posts.

I experienced the exact same issue. I woke my computer from sleep by lifting the lid, and rather than prompting me for a Touch ID authentication, as it should have, it required my password, which was obviously very unusual. It did not accept my password, which I'm 99% sure was correct, so I went through the password reset process. Following that, the Touch ID prompt just disappeared entirely even after deleting the finger and adding it back, restarting, messing with preferences, etc. The only thing that worked for me was unchecking the "Use Touch ID for: Unlocking your Mac" option, logging out, logging back in, checking the unlock your Mac option, logging out again, and then logging back in. Following this procedure, the Touch ID worked again as normal. I also think this bug may be related to the activity monitor app as somebody else suggested since I was using that app when the problem first arose. I'll now use "htop" exclusively! This appears to be a pretty significant bug since it is essentially responsible for locking people out of their own computers, so hopefully a fix will come out soon.

Delete the finger print you just made, quit system preferences and reopen it again and check if unlocking your Mac is selected. It happens that it is automatically deselected when you close the system preferences it. Just make sure it is selected.

Purchased the HP Pavilion 20-b310 All-in one PC & set it up - but have forgotten my password to actually log on - my hint info isn't helping & of course I didn't write my pw down or make a flash drive to save the info. How can I access my computer? thx

i assumed you didn't login with microsoft account. IF it it, then you should check the above answers for that. For local account, you need to make a password reset disk on a normal computer with CD or USB. Then use the disk to reset account password on the locked computer. For details, you can check this guide: -windows-10-password.html

The Touch-Triggered One-Time Passwords (OTP) functions of the YubiKey provide the behavior most people visualize when thinking about OTPs. When the YubiKey is triggered with a touch to the gold contact, it will provide to the host computer a unique random and single-use code which can be validated by a server the YubiKey has been registered with. The YubiKey supports a number of user-programmable configurations which can be loaded into either of the two OTP configuration slots.

The YubiKey has an integrated touch-contact that triggers the OTP generation. Generated OTPs are sent as keystrokes by the emulated keyboard, thereby allowing the OTPs to be received by any text input field or command prompt. This can be done across any channel which accepts keyboard input, such as virtual desktops, remote desktops, SSH or web interfaces.

Each of the OTP slots is independent of the other; there is no data shared between them. Either can be programmed by the user, deleting or overwriting the stored configuration. To prevent unauthorized changes, a user may set an access code to prevent modification to the protected slot. Each OTP slot can have a different access code set.

When using the YubiKey as a Touch-Triggered One-Time Password (OTP) device on a mobile platform, the user experience is slightly different. The act of tapping and holding an NFC-enabled YubiKey to the NFC reader on a mobile device takes the place of touching the gold contact to generate an OTP.

The OTP is passed as part of the NDEF tag, which is supported on most mobile devices with NFC. Once sent, the NDEF tag can be captured by an app on the mobile platform, which can then extract the OTP and utilize it. For iOS and Android, Yubico offers a mobile SDK to support this user experience. Further, Yubico offers the Yubico Authenticator Android and iOS apps, which help manage OTPs on the YubiKey.

Yubico offers a selection of libraries and tools to aid in the configuration of a YubiKey, ranging from the YubiKey Manager tool for end users looking to program their personal device to command line interfaces for scripting low level C, python and Java libraries for direct integration.
