Waterfire - this Sat Aug 26th

The Waterfire Swing night is on this Sat (26th Aug) in Providence. Is anyone thinking of going? It
was a fun night last year!

The Bonfires (mounted in the river) are to be lit in a performance at 7:30pm

Dancing is outdoors and is free! A proper dance floor is built over the cobblestone streets at the
intersection of Westminster and Weybosset Streets in the heart of Providence's Financial District

The lesson is at 7pm; dancing is from 8pm-midnight.

Roger Ceresi & The Allstarz is the band.

OMG!!   This sounds like great fun.  I went a year ago to the salsa dance night and it was great, but VERY crowded.  I have been out of touch with the dance group for several months and don't know anyone but...........I guess I can be brave and hope to connect with some smiling face if I go!  Thanks for posting this!

Are you going to swing city Friday night?  Eight to the Bar is playing.  If you are, maybe we could touch base so we could recognize each other at Waterfire.  Also, if you don't have anyone to go with, you could ride with us.
