Hi All,

We need people to help for day-of logistics and marketing before the LEARN Conference (which is one month away).  Please, please recruit friends, acquaintances, and anyone interested in education by sending out this LEARN volunteer survey (below) (to everyone you know with any interest in education, or anyone who owes you a favor).  We need all hands on deck for this.  If you get volunteers who want to help who don't feel like using the survey, please put in recruits' information in the "LEARN2013 Conference - Workstream Management" spreadsheet, on the "Logistics" tab at the far right.  At the bottom of that spreadsheet, you'll find the section to put in volunteers' information.

Here's a blurb you can send along:

Hi friends,
I have been working for the better part of the last 6 months on planning the 2013 LEARN Education Conference, taking place in one month on February 23, 2013.  We have amazing speakers coming, including the head of the Philadelphia School District (William Hite), the Chairman & President of the GE Foundation (Bob Corcoran), the President of StudentsFirst (Kahlil Byrd), the former head of the Louisiana Recovery School District (Paul Vallas), and many more.  We have over 280 attendees registered now, and want to make sure all Penn students know about this Conference, so we need your help.

Please click this link to put in your name if you can either:
- volunteer a few hours to help with marketing (distributing flyers, tabling, or networking with professors to market the Conference),
- volunteer for a 1 or 2 hour shift on the day of the Conference, Saturday, February 23 (for logistics).

It would mean a lot to me if you could help.  More information about the Conference is available here: www.learn-network.org/2013-conference.html

Thank you!
