As-salamu alaykum Students and Volunteers!

Hope those who have been fasting in Ramadan had a good month full of
blessings and had a wonderful time celebrating the break fast of Eid.
As we are getting back on track with the Arabic classes and setting up
lessons, please do inform me what is the best time for you to have
these lessons? Please provide the time zone E.S.T if possible, as well
as your preferences on the times, and subjects that you might like to
go over.
Please do share your reflections

Thank you and see you in class soon!!!

yes classes will be held in Paltalk

you can download the program here: http://www.paltalk.com/#
classes are in text and Audio only!
to find the class when it opens
when you sign into Paltalk, select "All Rooms", a new window will appear showing the Room list
then select "Social Issues and politics"
then select "Human Rights"
then select from the list "Learning Arabic for who wants to learn" when its opened
if the room is not shown on the list it means it has not opened yet, if you happen to be early

please prepare questions written down in a file format if you have any, as well as what you want to concentrate on and work/improve in the class to improve your Arabic or even start from scratch in order to help serve you and better your learning experience.

Thank You
See you in class!

Salaam alaykum wa marhaba bekum,

After reading on the Arabic instructor (Mrs.Ressma) from Sunday,
September 27, 2009 messages on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 6:00
A.M. I made a reply to the post message in the relationship with
starting the "Learning Arabic For Who Wants To Learn".

Here is the message I had posted: "The best hours for me to have your
wonderful Arabic language class lessons are Sundays thru Saturdays
between the hours of 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and 12:00 A.M. to 6:00
A.M."

I was very happy and surprice that the "Learning Arabic For Who Wants
To Learn" will be open on Saturday, October 3, 2009
on Paltalk within the catogories of Social Issues and Politics/Human
Rights/Learning Arabic For Who Wants To Learn". Mrs.Khudairi had made
the post on Saturday, October 3, 2009. I was in the chat room, and
only saw Mr.Tweety and Mrs.Jihad within the chat room. The class.

Here are the questions that I have:
1. Can we have a 3 to 5 minute presentation of the past and present
history of the Arabic language?
2. Can we have a review the 28 Arabi alpahebt letters and the 14
diacritical mark?
3. Can we have a review the 12 conjugation gender case form endings
within each root word?
4. Can we have a review the 13 pronouns, and the basic 12 nouns, 12
verbs, 12 adjectives within each
class lesson session?

The above learning tasks will assist and help serve everyone better
and enhance their educational Arabic language skills learning
experience.

Insha'Allah. Maa aas salaama. Shukran jeziilan. Salaam. Peaceout
Mohammed.

Waliakum salam wa rahmatul lahi wa barakatuh,
I am awfully sorry for the late response. I hope the first class this past Saturday went well. I also hope Allah Ta'aal rewards everyone who fasted sincerely for his sake alone.

I would love to attend the Arabic classes, and thank the teacher for her efforts of always getting knowledge interwined on Paltalk. Saturdays and Sundays are great for me as well anytime after 4pm is perfect for me. However, I will not be able to attend classes this coming weekends as my laptop is not working. If a student can make notes from the class and share it with those who cannot attend it would be of great help.

Thank you,
Sincerely,
Halima

As-salamu alaykum!

the class started last Saturday was a success!! and work well for the
majority of the students to have between the hours of 4 - 7pm Eastern
Time (EST)
for those who were unclear with the time, you need to check the
correct time zone with the time zone converter and make sure to
convert for your local time to Easter time or E.S.T
http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc

also as we are having more responses there is also suggestions to have
classes on Sundays, if you could please post the desired times in EST
for consideration

Notes for last class will be posted soon
please make sure to review the "Getting Started" page in the
LearnArabee google groups site http://groups.google.com/group/learnarabee/web/getting-started?hl=en
No Class this coming Saturday on Oct 10 at 4 - 7 pm EST

suggestions on with to be covered in class will be considered
thank you
