Our mission at our Ukrainian Language and Culture School is to provide students with effective, high-quality language instruction set in the context of the rich culture of Lviv. You can join the hundreds of students who have benefited from our work-play approach. Our programs are customized to your needs, practical and effective, and immersed in a rich cultural experience.

Customizing to your needs:

Using the respected standards established by the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE), we can have a conversation about what you expect to accomplish by the end of our course. For instance, are you just beginning your study of the Ukrainian Language? Then, at the end of your experience with us you will be able to:

·         Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.

·         Introduce yourself and others, ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know, and the things you have.

·         Interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

But, perhaps you have a working knowledge of the Ukrainian Language! For more advanced students, you and our team may expect that you can:

·         Understand with ease virtually everything you hear or read.

·         Summarize information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation.

·         Express yourself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations

Of course, ALTE provides four other sets of goals for students who begin their study in between beginners and experienced Ukrainian Language speakers. Our team understands these levels and has the tools to help you set your learning goals appropriate to your needs and desires!

*The deadline for application is 2 weeks before the beginning of each school.
Late applications may be accepted but we advise to book early. The earlier you apply the more time we would have to arrange your accommodation in the best possible way.
