Local Skaing Clubs reach out to LTS Cincinnati

Queen City Figure Skating Club invites you to come join them on Friday 2/5 at 6:30pm at Sports Plus for their club ice session.  This is time where all levels can play and practice with friends without the worry of “out of cotrol” skaters on the public skate session.  All levels are welcome.  Tell tem you were invited by Learn to Skate Cincinnati.  Queen City’s web site is www.queencityfsc.com

The Figure Skating Club of Cincinnati invites everyone to Skate Talk 101 on Sunday from 5-530 and 545-615pm.  The topic this week is termonolgy.  What is a lutz, a salchow.  Stacy, the President of the club will be giving some on and off ice demonstrations.  For more information on the FSC of Cincinnati go to www.skatecincinnati.org.

Skating Competition at Sports Plus 3/20 – deadline 2/6

The registration deadline for Skate Cincinnati Skating competition is Saturday 2/6.  If you are interested in competiting and need a coach please call Denise Mackey at 759-4259.

Next Tuesday thru Thursday everything in the pro shop is 50% off.  If you need tights, dresses, skates etc.. next week will be the best time.  This is on in-stock only merchandise.  (please remember when buying skates to get measured – skate sizes run a ½ to 2 sizes smaller than show size)
