"The bloodstream delivers each food component to the proper destination without any errors. If any calcium was delivered to the brain instead of to the bones, it would cause a catastrophe. Different materials are needed for the teeth, the nails, the hair, the bones, the eyes, the skin and the muscles. All these materials are extracted from the food in a mixture, and are thus conveyed by the bloodstream; yet at each address the proper material is sorted out and is delivered without confusion."
