Makara Saṅkrānti marks the auspicious beginning of Uttarāyaṇa, the sacred northward journey of Sūrya-deva. This divine transition is traditionally observed as a time of purification, renewed resolve, and spiritual awakening.

On this holy occasion, Vedavarsity is humbly arranging Makara Saṅkrānti Tathā Navagraha Śānti Yajña, performed strictly as per Vaiṣṇava-vidhi, for invoking auspiciousness and peace in our lives through bhakti, gratitude, and surrender to the Supreme Lord.

This yajña is not merely a ritual—its true purpose is to awaken devotional consciousness, wherein real śānti manifests by remembering and depending upon the Lord.

In the traditional spirit of guru-dakṣiṇā, there is no registration fee. There is no fixed charge—only voluntary dakṣiṇā, offered according to one’s capacity and heartfelt gratitude.
