Dependence on Krishna gives Peace - Part 3

Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva.
This is in continuation of the transcription of one of the nectarean discussion with our beloved spiritual master HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj on 27th December 2008 in Sri Sri Radha Neel Madhav dham, Rajkot. In the previous offering we heard from Maharaj that
1. Just like how small child has full faith on his/her father, we should have full faith on Lord.
2. Holy Name is all in all. Everything develops from Holy Names and ends in Holy Names.
3. We need to be practical in guiding people according to time, place and circumstances,
Maharaj then quoted SB 10.20.15 about how people who give guidance should be like the mountains which stand firm even terrible storms hit them
Now we shall continue to hear from Maharaj.
Maharaj:
SB 10.20.15
girayo varṣa-dhārābhir
hanyamānā na vivyathuḥ
abhibhūyamānā vyasanair
yathādhokṣaja-cetasaḥ
Just as devotees whose minds are absorbed in the Personality of Godhead remain peaceful even when attacked by all sorts of dangers, the mountains in the rainy season were not at all disturbed by the repeated striking of the rain-bearing clouds.
This is the main thing, yathādhokṣaja-cetasaḥ, they are not moving. This is what he is asking (devotee who asked the first question about how advanced devotees are able to stand firm in times of diffficulties) yathādhokṣaja-cetasaḥ - those whose minds are absorbed in the Supreme Lord. As I told you, the defects always is with us. You please blame yourself when there is a complex situation. Don’t blame here and there. Blame yourself. That is the end of it. Try to improve. Our way is that we blame everybody except for ourselves.
Devotee: We say that we are not at fault, but (when we blame others) three fingers are showing (pointing) at us and only one finger is shown at the other person. We have to blame ourselves.
Maharaj: And the matter ends there. As soon as you blame yourself, the opposite party is very happy. He will say that, “you are saying you are at fault.” (Laughter) And they are pacified. sarvendriyopaśāntyā ca tuṣyaty āśu janārdanaḥ. Somehow or other these material accounts should not be continued. They should be cut short. Finish. This Kamsa heard the message that the eight child of Devaki will kill him. And he didn’t cut short that account. Whole life of his was miserable because the material thing was not cut short. He could have done it, he could have cut short and then die, at least his whole life would have been peaceful. See how much difference will it be. But Kamsa thought that he must kill Krishna, again material account. So, for the whole of his lifetime, how many atrocities he had to go carry on and how many times he had to be awake.. for all nights. And see by adding Krishna’s name that, “if He wishes i go. That’s it, peaceful. At any time in our life also, Krishna dependence is there, you are peaceful.” Very easy to understand.
Krishna willing we can hear more nectar from Maharaj in the subsequent offering.
