What is the true goal of yoga, and where do its many mystic byways ultimately lead?
In this issue, Lord Kṛṣṇa describes to Uddhava the eighteen mystic perfections attainable through yoga, while cautioning that these very perfections can become impediments for one who is absorbed in bhakti-yoga.
Śrīla Prabhupāda's disciples explain how certain mystic perfections may also be acquired simply by birth, and why the perfection of Kṛṣṇa consciousness surpasses all other forms of yoga, just as Mount Everest surpasses all other peaks.
Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura concludes the issue with a sober examination of the dangers of haṭha-yoga, explaining why devotional service is fearless and free from the danger of falling away.
