Srila Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj Vyasa Puja 2025 - Part 15

Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Dandavat pranams. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva.
This is in continuation of the previous offering titled, “Srila Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj Vyasa Puja 2025” wherein we are trying to remember, contemplate and learn the various glories of our beloved spiritual master, as shared by devotees from different parts of the world on the auspicious ocassion of Maharaj's Vyasa Puja celebrations in Sri Sri Radha Neel Madhav dham Rajkot on 4th Dec 2025. We were meditaing on
i) verses BG 8.12-14 and SB 2.7.53 to 2.8.4 that werre found in personal copies of Maharaj's Gita and Bhgavatam.
ii) Some pearls of wisdom from Maharaj's class, “Never leave the Shelter of Krishna” heard on Vyas Puja day this year.
Now we shall continue further with the glorification of Maharaj as done by various devotees.
HG Prasannatma Prabhuji: I would like to offer SB 3.9.38 verse to Maharaj.
yac cakarthāṅga mat-stotraṁ
mat-kathābhyudayāṅkitam
yad vā tapasi te niṣṭhā
sa eṣa mad-anugrahaḥ
Lord says to Brahmaji, “O Brahmā, the prayers that you have chanted praising the glories of My transcendental activities, the penances you have undertaken to understand Me, and your firm faith in Me — all these are to be considered My causeless mercy.”
Srila Prabhupada very nicely explains in the purport, “When a living entity desires to serve the Lord in transcendental loving service, the Lord helps the devotee in so many ways as the caitya-guru, or the spiritual master within, and thus the devotee can perform many wonderful activities beyond material estimation.” So far we heard from devotees like Manohar Prabhuji, and also from Devaki Prabhuji about the Abudhabi devotees who now got settled in different places in India. Wherever they are now, they are able to do wonderful service and the reason behind that is explained in this verse. The source of all our strength and ability to do all the service is causeless mercy of Maharaj. We are nothing, just an instrument in Maharaj's hands. Whatever new things that keep happening in Rajkot every year, is all due to the causeless mercy of HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj. Maharaj has mercifully come and sat here. He knows that, “these children can't manage on their own. My presence is required.” So, Maharaj has really come and sat here. HG Vaishnavseva Prabhuji has said and we have also felt that whatever new projects come, Maharaj has already made all arrangements for the same. For example, now we have this new project on Govinda's restaurant. None of us have any idea on running a restaurant. But Maharaj has already made the needful arrangements for the same.
Srila Prabhupada further says, “By the mercy of the Lord even a layman can compose prayers of the highest spiritual perfection. Such spiritual perfection is not limited by material qualifications but is developed by dint of one’s sincere endeavor to render transcendental service. Voluntary endeavor is the only qualification for spiritual perfection. Material acquisitions of wealth or education are not considered.”
And we can see how true these statements are. Vaishnav Prabhuji wanted to develop Dwaraka guest house and the Lord fulfilled his desire. Lord arranged devotees also for service in Dwaraka - Krishna das Prabhuji, Aniketan Prabhuji, Antaryami Prabhuji. We never called or invited anyone for service. Whenever there was service requirement Maharaj sent the devotees, well in advance and got them trained also. Many new devotees who have come here, have experienced the presence of Maharaj in his samadhi. They have experienced that whenever they offer prayers and express their questions, Maharaj has always reciprocated to them and answered their prayers. I just offer this request to Maharaj that please, You continue to hold our hands and keep guiding us. Please never forsake us. Hare Krishna.
Krishna willing we shall continue to meditate on Maharaj and his glories in the subsequent offering.
