I made this a few months ago, but I was just looking for a warp pad sound recently for my notifications and remembered I posted it to a comment thread and a few people said they were looking for a version like this, but couldn't find one. I figured I'd post it here in case anyone else likes the instrumentals behind Steven's ringtone in "Full Disclosure"
We want unique, modern ringtones (two) and text messaging sounds (two for outgoing/sending messages and two for incoming messages) for our next version of Talkatone. We want our new default tones to be a signature for Talkatone (think Skype and their ringtone)
Please download our app on App store, Google Play and visit our website to get a feel of our brand and what we are doing.
Your entry in the contest should include the tunes in a single file in the following order:
1. 29s ringtone
2. 29s ringtone
3. Max 2s outgoing/sending message tune
4. Max 2s outgoing/sending message tune
5. Max 2s incoming message tune
6. Max 2s incoming message tune
The winner must provide us with all the tunes in separate files according to the specs below and also a resampled version (to make sure everything is in the same format) of our current ringtones (Carmen, Nutcracker, Star Spangled Banner and Swan Lake).
Specs:
1. Ringtones must be packaged into app itself (e.g. we cannot download them from web site or something into app after it's installed) and this limits few factors:
2. No stereo effects, just mono (ringtones must be PCM audio)
3. We prefer small file sizes as we work with mobile platforms (currently we go as low as 16bit, 8KHz for sampling rate).
4. Audio volume on all ringtones should be normalized to same level, reference level of 0db.
5. Ringtone duration is 29 seconds. Shorter ringtones needs to be "pre looped" to this duration.
Message tones should be very short, max is 2 seconds, no looping.
6. Audio should be optimized for playing on iPhone :) (I'm not a musician myself, so not sure if it matters or not).
Imagining a horror movie (recently saw A Quiet Place) where only those with the kiddie voice ringtones all die, but only the viewer gets it right from the start. The colleagues have all been trained to couch their annoyance and focus on rational factors; except maybe two childless workers who can only feel the irritation factors but suppress that idea because they need not only their jobs but their social credits for continued and promotional work. It garners scathing reviews for its filmic work, but audiences love it, and it passes the Bechdel test.
My guess is that the boss is too passive to deal with the general ringtone situation and only singled out the LW because she received a complaint about that particular ringtone. Otherwise, why not just ask the LW (and everyone) to put their phone on vibrate?
My ringtone is Baroque Hoedown, an early synthesizer composition by groundbreaking electronic artists Kingsley & Perry which Disneyland later used as the theme song to the popular and long running Main Street Electrical Parade.
Oh God, ringtones. I had a coworker who never put hers on silent, always left it on her (cubicle) desk when she was somewhere else, and had a husband who would never leave a message, just kept calling until she picked up. A couple of times I had to go find her and demand she make it stop.
To set a song as your ringtone it needs to saved in your Files app or must be purchased and downloaded on your phone. You can't use songs that you just have saved on Apple Music or another streaming service such as Spotify.
The easiest way to do this is to pick out your favorite song and save it to files using an mp3 converter or buy it in the iTunes Store. Then you'll have to create a loop of that song in GarageBand and export it as a ringtone. Don't worry, the process is quite easy, and we'll talk you through the steps.
Hi,I am trying to implement outgoing call ringtone in swift 5.0 where I am using AVAudioPlayer. I have loaded the audio file (mp3), set numberOfLoops to -1 and called prepareToPlay() in init() of my class. Checked PrepareToPlay() method returns true.
When calling play(), it play the ringtone for one sec and stopped (even thought the ringtone duration in one loop is 7secs) but stop() is not called. When I introduce 100ms delay to play the ringtone for first time play, then it is playing continuously until stopped and second time onwards no issue in playing without delay. This is the case for latest iPhone. But when I tested the same code in old iPhone like 6s then getting same issue. In that case I have to introduce more delay as it is old hardware.
This is my code which is working fine for old (iPhone 6s)and new iPhone (iPhone 12). When I reduce the delay to 0.1s, then it is working fully for new iPhone but not working for old iPhone (playing only 1 sec audio and stopped). The same behaviour is happening for new iPhone if I remove the delay completely. Even without having delay, from second call onwards when my object already alive after first call, the ringtone play properly. The issue is happening when object created and called the play method immediately in first call. Any idea?
SIEGEL: The Nokia ringtone, it was introduced in 1994. Last Friday, Nokia - once the world's cell phone leader - sold its dwindling phone business to Microsoft for a lot of money, seven and a half billion dollars.

There are a lot of misconceptions about what Music Supervisors actually do. Do they use music they personally like? Why are they often working on super quick deadlines? Read this to get those answers and more!
Sources said the USA Freedom Act, with or without amendments, could be approved as early as Tuesday or Wednesday even if Paul continues his fight. But McConnell had vowed not to let the programs lapse, hoping that the June 1 deadline would pressure the Senate to act as he pushed trade legislation through the Senate first.
