I would have loved to be in the discussion on interviews today, because I’m going to be conducting some soon for a Software Developer in Test position we just posted this week at Attachmate. If you are interested or you know someone who’d be a good fit, please send them my way. Attachmate has a really great culture built on humility, respect and trust (stole that directly from Team Geek, but I mean it!). We’re not producing sexy products, but we are using cutting edge tools and technology to build them. There’s a growing understanding and advocacy for Lean thinking and using Kanban in Engineering, but there’s still a long way to go for the company and bringing an advocate into the fold would be ideal! If you want to learn more, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Oh, and the best thing is that whoever gets hired would be working with me J

Speaking of  interviews, I just went to my second interview at Facebook.  It was a binary tree and double linked list question.  No relationship to the job in any way.  I wasn't invited to the next interview.

The job description for Attachmate includes things I haven't done.  I could pick them up.

I've used Attachmate tools in previous jobs.  Any company that creates tools for the mainframe environment that I worked with is good by me.
