I'm sorry but , you don't really understand me,I tried in many formats to save my 3d project like format : .dwg ; .dxf ; .dwf , but unfortunately when I open it in cinema 4d I find there just some line at all , but where is walls , windows...? I attached my project , maybe you can open it in cinema 4d in some way ???
Another suggestion is to import the autocad files in 3dsmax7 which works so fine (I have tried this). the import just works fine with all the lines intact even the blocks and layers. And then export it as dxf file or as 3ds file
