This gave me an idea. Could you create a plugin that works with $skyd_CMS_of_choice so that its journalists can simply write [Mark Liu](lv:Mark Liu) and that would automatically create a hyperlink to the leaguevine stats page for that player?

This is a fantastic idea! 

We already have the read-only player data exposed via our public API, and it's searchable by name so building this plugin probably wouldn't be too hard. I'm guessing someone familiar with wordpress could build a plugin in a weekend.

There are two ways I could see this going down:

1. As the user types, if the previous two consecutive capitalized words that were typed match a player name exactly in Leaguevine, then a popup shows up that shows players to choose from (or none) and clicking the player name in the popup replaces adds a link to the player.
2. After an article is written, someone opens the plugin and hits "find leaguevine players". The plugin then scans the whole document for names and cycles a user through prompts to add links to each of them.

Is anyone on this list interested in writing this plugin?
